Diocesan Pilgrimage to Emmitsburg
Join Bishop Michael F. Burbidge and our diocesan family on a pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton and the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, Emmitsburg, MD, Saturday, October 7, Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, from 9 am - 3 pm. The day will feature a talk on Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton, Mass, procession to the Grotto cave with recitation of the Rosary and Eucharistic Adoration. Mass Honoring Military and First Responders
On Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 11 am, Fr. Diamond Council #6292 and Fr. Malloy Assembly #1894 of the Knights of Columbus will host their 8th annual Mass Honoring Military and First Responders at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, 3700 Blenheim Blvd, Fairfax, 22030. Fr. Robert J. Rippy, Chancellor of the Diocese, will be the principal celebrant, with Bishop Emeritus Paul Loverde as a concelebrant. All are welcome to join us; Military, Law Enforcement, and Fire and Rescue personnel are encouraged to wear their dress uniform.
