WSA Baby Shower for The MaRiH Center
Celebrate life at the WSA Baby shower to benefit the MaRiH Center. Sponsored by WSA.
The MaRiH Center (Ma-rye-ah) is a crisis pregnancy center in Alexandria, VA. Since 1974, the Center serves moms/dads and their children with love, support and very practical help. The Center helps vulnerable mothers to choose life.
Among the many items given every day, The MaRiH Center supplies a newborn “layette” to more than 250 babies every year. Help us “shower” and give an abundance of layettes to all the 2024 babies.
Please bring all gifts unwrapped (may be placed in an open bag). All the gifts will be displayed. The Center’s Amazon Wish List is posted on marih.org.
The Mariah Center’s urgently needed items include
- Essentials
- Diapers Size 1, 3, 5, and 6 and baby wipes
- Formula - preferred Similac Pro-Advance Non-GMO Infant Formula with Iron
- Critical Need Clothing
- Fall/Winter Clothing for 0-6 mos., 18 - 24 mo., 2T
- Winter coats (0-3 month to 2 T boys and girls)
- Critical Need Equipment
- Single strollers that can fold, Pack-n-Play cribs, Bassinets, Booster and convertible car seats (not expired)
- Other Critical Needs
- Baby shampoo, Lovies, Diaper rash ointment, Baby blankets
- Food cards for Aldi, Giant, Safeway or Walmart
